      According to the latest news update it is possible now to hold the hands of your family & friends over internet with the help of specially designed robotic hands which experiences you the sensation of touch.

      It simply plugs into the computer & communicates with an electronic wristband to experience the sensation touch while shaking hand with your friends & family.

      Its not only shake & grip, but also able to give the signs of OK & Peace. These tool is developed by scientists at the Chinese university of Hong Kong .

      It works by using the electrical impulses generated by muscles as they contract. The signals are picked up by a sensor which sends signals to the computer that uses software to turn it into muscle movements.

      The information is transmitted over the internet to the receiving computer, where the signals are translated into instructions for the robotic hand that carries out the same hand movement, the media report said.

      The intention behind the research team had been to develop something which could help the elderly keep in touch with their families.

      "Although they can show their care through phone calls, physical touch is still a better way to express love. With the system, elderly people and their children and grandchildren can touch and hold hands via the internet and show affection directly."
