      These calculation are revealed by security analysis firm Sophos. Sophos had released an its annual list of top spam polluters. An general snap shot of list is shown below:


      According to the Sophos spamming is done increasingly and it becomes malicious. Also lots of spams are generated by financially motivated criminals to control the compromised Zombie computers for the purpose of spamming also to steal identity and secure information.

      They also added that internet users should not click on links or attachments in the spam mails which can make their PC controlled by other cybercriminals.

      Spam emails make up 97 percent of all emails received by business email servers, both putting a strain on network resources and wasting a huge amount of time to lost productivity.
