Rediff.com India had announced that Rediff Blogs will replace their earlier blogging platform Rediffland. Rediff Blogs has social media elements enabling bloggers on the site to quickly get noticed. Hot topics under discussion at any given point of the day can be found in the 'What's the buzz' section of the service.
Rediff Blogs supports nine major Indian languages including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi and Malayalam.
Users can upload photos and videos to their blogs. The service also enables users to adopt themes powered by WordPress and widgets like Category/Tag cloud to choose from.
